Welcome to Memory Share ("the Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Ownership: Users retain full ownership and copyright of the content they create and publish on the Platform.
License: By posting content, users grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute the content within the Platform for the purposes of operation and promotion.
Third-Party Use: The Platform will not transfer or license user content to third parties without the explicit consent of the content owner.
Author Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, or share, including its legality, originality, accuracy, truthfulness, and respect for the rights of others.
Users agree to:
Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:
Neutrality: The Platform does not endorse or support the opinions expressed by users.
No Verification: The Platform does not check user-generated content for plagiarism, factual accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, or legal compliance before publication.
Author Views: Memories, memoirs, comments, photos, voice recordings, and other content reflect the views and statements of their individual authors. The Platform may not share, support, or agree with those views.
Liability: The Platform is not responsible for user-generated content and disclaims all liability for any harm resulting from such content.
Monitoring: While the Platform reserves the right to monitor and remove content that violates this agreement, it is not obligated to do so.
Users agree to:
Data Collection: The Platform collects and uses personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Consent: By using the Platform, users consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as described in the Platform's Privacy Policy.
When you place a print order, you authorize MemoryShare and its print and fulfillment processors, including Lulu Press, Inc., to reproduce and handle the selected book content only as needed to validate files, manufacture the books, deliver the order, and provide customer support.
You confirm that you own or have all permissions needed to reproduce every text, image, recording transcript, likeness, and other item included in a book submitted for printing. You are responsible for spelling, grammar, layout, image quality, design choices, and the legality of the submitted files.
You must review and meaningfully approve the final book before ordering, including any text created or changed by automated translation, transcription, or other AI-assisted tools. Content submitted for printing must comply with applicable law and the content rules of our print and fulfillment processors; a non-compliant order may be rejected and refunded as required by law.
Minor variation in color, ink coverage, trimming, or placement can occur in print-on-demand manufacturing and is not necessarily a defect. If supply availability requires a materially equivalent paper substitution, this does not limit any non-waivable consumer right or an approved remedy for an actual defect.
A print-on-demand order may be cancelled only while it remains in the cancellation window shown by MemoryShare and before production begins. Once production begins, the order cannot be changed or cancelled. Changes made to a MemoryShare book after an order is placed do not change the files already submitted for that order.
Because each physical book is manufactured on demand, change-of-mind returns are not accepted except where required by law. If a book arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrectly packaged, contact MemoryShare within 30 days of the shipment date and provide the order number, a description, and clear photographs of the book, packaging, and packing slip where relevant. MemoryShare will review the claim and, when approved, arrange an appropriate replacement or another remedy required by law. Do not return a book unless MemoryShare support asks you to do so.
The Platform reserves the right to modify this User Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The Platform may suspend or terminate a user's access at its sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates this agreement or is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
