MemoryShare is a place to preserve personal memories, family stories, photos, voice recordings, and memoirs respectfully and safely.
Be respectful
Users must treat other people with dignity. Do not post content that harasses, abuses, intimidates, or targets another person or group.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Spam: Do not post repetitive, misleading, promotional, or automated content that disrupts the service.
- Hate speech: Do not attack or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or immigration status.
- Threats and violence: Do not threaten, encourage, praise, or coordinate violence or physical harm.
- Illegal content: Do not post content that promotes, enables, or contains illegal activity.
- Discrimination: Do not use MemoryShare to exclude, shame, or target people based on protected characteristics.
- Intentionally false information: Do not knowingly post false or misleading information about people, events, or identities when it may harm others.
- Privacy violations: Do not share another person's private information, images, voice recordings, or personal stories without appropriate permission.
- Impersonation: Do not pretend to be another person or misrepresent your relationship to a person, family, event, or organization.
- Intellectual property violations: Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Author responsibility and ownership
Users retain copyright and ownership of the memories, memoirs, photos, voice recordings, and other content they create and upload.
Each author is solely responsible for the legality, originality, accuracy, and truthfulness of their content. MemoryShare does not check user-generated content for plagiarism, factual accuracy, truthfulness, or completeness before publication.
User content reflects the views and statements of its individual author. MemoryShare may not share, support, or agree with those views and is not responsible for user-generated content.
Moderation
MemoryShare may remove content, restrict accounts, or suspend access when content or behavior violates these guidelines, the Terms of Service, or applicable law.
