Effective date: June 10, 2026
When you create an account directly, we collect your username, email address, password hash, and any optional profile details you choose to provide, such as city, country, biography, and profile picture.
When you use Google Login, we request only the information needed to create or access your MemoryShare account: Google provider user ID, name, email address, and whether Google marks the email address as verified.
When you use Facebook Login, we request only the information needed to create or access your MemoryShare account: Facebook provider user ID, name, and email address.
We do not request access to your friends, posts, photos, contacts, or private social media content from Google or Facebook.
You may upload or create text memories, memoirs, comments, photos, videos, voice recordings, voice message transcripts, events, and other profile information.
You control whether memoirs and memories are public, private, or shared according to the options available in the service. Public memoirs and public memories may be visible to other visitors. Private memoirs and private memories are intended to be visible only to you or to people you explicitly choose, depending on the privacy settings available in the application.
Voice recordings uploaded by users are processed solely to provide transcription and memoir creation services.
Voice recordings may be stored with the related memory and may be processed by transcription services to generate text transcripts for the user. We do not use voice recordings for advertising or sell voice recordings to third parties.
MemoryShare may use AI or automated service-provider features to support the product, including automatic translation, automatic transcription of voice recordings into text, language detection, and similar tools that help users preserve and understand memories. These features may process the text, voice recordings, transcripts, or other content needed to provide the requested functionality.
We do not sell your personal information. Public memories, public memoirs, and public profile information may be visible to other visitors. Private content is intended to be visible only according to the access settings selected in the application. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the service.
MemoryShare may use service providers for hosting, database storage, file storage, email delivery, translation, analytics, and transcription. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.
You can update profile details and privacy settings from your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by following the instructions on the Data Deletion Instructions page. Account deletion requests include linked Google Login and Facebook Login records stored by MemoryShare.
